Be Ever Ready To Accept Your Mistake
Mistake is the action taken under
the impression that you are doing the right thing, therefore innocence or
ignorance is the underlying cause of any mistake. Then the right strategy
should be to get rid of
ignorance by getting educated, and innocence can be
countered by being aware of the fact that although you may think something to
be correct, due to lack of wisdom or information regarding that subject, but
it is still possible for you to discover at a later stage that you were not
right. Thus possessing the humility of being open, to accept such realities and
learn from them is the first step towards personal leadership and growth.
It calls for a great deal of
humility to be ever ready to accept your mistake, where you may have no
awareness of this fact, till such time this reality is brought to your notice
through some external factors or it dawns on you through your intrinsic realization that you were not right when you acted under the illusion of it being
right.
Know the Causes of Illusions
If you look around yourself you
would recognize that there are infinite factors responsible for even the
simplest of the outcome to happen. No we are not discussing the theory of
probability, but even more interestingly the underlying causes or the factors leading to the illusions owing to the imperfect human sensory perception and Maya,
responsible for decoding these events as they do it. The Maya or illusion coupled with your ego is the main reason for such occurrences. Time and again
the scientific discoveries have revealed that our senses are imperfect and so
is our understanding & interpretation of the events happening around us.
Thus we see that different people, with different levels of perception, viewing
the same distant object. Each of them will be 100% confident of their individual
perception, but the fact could be that none of them may be right. The factors responsible
for such variations could be better explained by plotting their differing
individual concentration spans, selective distortion, language barriers,
intellectual capabilities, personal biases, education, aptitude, aspirations,
conditioning and motivation.
Your Perception Is the Reflection of Your Real Self
Your perception regarding the
external world is the reflection of your true self and converse of this is also true as whatever perception you
hold of the external world, gets manifested inside you, this is the power of law
of attraction. Therefore it is said that when you criticize others you tend to
carry and develop their negative attributes inside you and the same is true for
the praise offered by you to others, but the point to be noted is that you must
refrain from criticizing others and you must be genuinely sincere in your
praise, this must be heartfelt and in no way be flattery, targeted to please
those involved.
Preempt Falling Prey to Illusion
Therefore you must understand that
these differences emanate from the dynamic psychological as well as the ever
changing physiological conditioning based on differing levels of socio-cultural,
socio-economic, socio-demographic and socio-political exposure. As we have
discussed earlier also that Maya drags us under the influence of passion and ignorance,
and this is fueled by our false ego. It is
ironical to note that most of the time, the fears and worries influencing your
life, as you live under the deplorable conditions, of stress & anxiety generated by them, are
imaginary and unreal. This is the impact of Maya or illusion, and even the most
intelligent & knowledgeable people cannot escape from its trap, such is the
strength of this Maya or illusion. This is because your worldly intelligence
& knowledge is grounded in the primary motive of acquiring material
possessions and therefore the only way to preempt your falling prey to the
designs of illusion or Maya is to follow the real wisdom emanating from the
divine virtues by living the universal eternal truths, and by surrendering your
ego to the super natural power or God
