. When happiness is the goal, it is
important to understand that it comes only after wisdom. Till such time we put
happiness before wisdom the happiness will always elude us. It is same as a
horse trying to push a chariot; whereas the fact is that the horse can
comfortably pull a chariot and may not be able to push it well even after
putting in the best efforts.
So we understand the importance of wisdom,
there are many sources of wisdom but the best source is the realization of the
eternal universal truths governing the existence of human beings and their
experiences.
“Man is born free, and every where he is
in chains.” Jean-Jacques-Rousseau
Today we talk of human intelligence and
knowledge management, even in case of a small kid or a small business enterprise,
then what about the universal
intelligence which is pervading the entire universe
and is managing such a gigantic show on a continuous basis. In terms of Physical
Sciences-we see that a particular element will have a similar pattern of
electronic configuration, and that too always remains the same, irrespective of
the location and time boundaries. In terms of Biology-there is a standard
anatomy applicable to different species including humans. In terms of Astronomy-
all the planets discovered till now have a set pattern of movement, giving rise
to the predictability of cosmic events such as eclipses, leap years, etc. There
can be numerous other examples which will prove the point of a very well
defined universal system designed by Mother Nature. The beauty to be noted is
the precision to which these details are calculated and implemented by a
thoroughly disciplined execution by the respective constituents. We have never experienced
and will never experience the unpredictable event of the Sun not showing on a
particular day or the earth will be completing its revolution late by 15
minutes because of a vague excuse. These are the pointers towards the eternal
truths which govern the entire universe and human beings are no exceptions.
We will go on a journey to understand the
eternal truths of nature and how they relate to all of us, thereby gaining
wisdom, as the first step towards achieving happiness
